engagement

soo Prince willy is engaged to Ms Kate. finely. now we get the drivle all about it. the bookies are taking bets on every thing from the date to the place and i did hear something bout the wedding dress designer too *faceplam*

it has made me think about my engament. it was not a "huge" supprise. i had told DH in the typical "hold nothing back" way i have with words i'd like to be engaged on our 2 year annavercery. when he didn't pop the question over dinner i cracked the sads and told him so. when he popped the question in the car - in the carpark i promptly called him a bastard and told him not to play games with me. but he wasn't he presented me with a lovely 'wedding set' rings. that was Feb 9th 2008. we where married on Nov. 27th 2008. nine months. thanks to Mr Dj sneaking in. but dispite that, i loved our wedding day. DH looked like a bush ranger leading upto it. and seeing him at the aulter nice and clean shaven. his best friends standing next to him, all while praying i didn't trip seeing as i was in 5 inch heels! i enjoyed it.

that was almost two years ago. in that time i've birthed two babies. DH and I have bought a new 2nd hand car and sold my old one. we have renovated the house, bought an old holden we have manged to wrangle both kids, some how be diplomatic with family issues and avoid being run over by a drunk/drugged driver. we have also some how mangaed to stay together while other cuples around us fall apart. i wake up most mornings and think how lucky i am other mornings i wake up and think "why can't he make coffee any good" but we can't have it all. can we? well i like what i have. my DH is for the most part good to me and the boys. although he could be a little more romantic. but we can't have it all can we? we have also endured two rough starts to our sons lives, the dust storm following the fall out between DH and BIL and SIL.
in the two years we've been married we've both changed. i often joke he's becomming a grumpy old man. he tells me im a moody house wife. but we have also become stronger and that mucg

so we've been married almost two years, only another 23 togo before i've served a life sentence.
